Prevail Physical Therapy in Shoreline, WA has a job opening for a Physical Therapist with energy and passion who is interested in learning and helping others. The Prevail philosophy is rooted in team development, service innovation, community involvement and healthy business practices. We serve our local community as an outpatient orthopedic clinic, specializing in the health and performance of athletes and active people.
We are proponents of manual therapy but emphasize movement retraining, strength, and conditioning, with our 2,000+ square feet of open gym space with a wide variety of equipment, in addition to private treatment rooms. We utilize one Physical Therapy Assistant as appropriate, but do not use PT Aides for patient care. All visits are 45 minutes with a 1:1 PT-to-patient ratio.
Speciality Services
Running/walking
- Gait Analysis: Through thousands of analyses, we have developed a unique and thorough biomechanical gait analysis process designed to illuminate clinician and patient understanding of functional movement issues and strategies to address them. Analysis includes gait specific exam, video analysis, pedobarography and surface EMG.
- Orthotics: we prescribe custom orthotics and carry Superfeet for OTC use. We have a mini-orthotic lab to allow on-site adjustments and refurbishing.
-We have one of the few, publicly available AlterG Antigravity treadmills in the state and use for accelerated post-op rehab, continued run training while injured, and performance enhancement
Bike Fitting
- Our approach to bike fitting is based on the cyclist’s biomechanics, involving clinical exam, motion analysis, pressure mapping as appropriate, and changes to bike positioning. An extensive selection of parts is available on-site for immediate changes, and staff receive an employee discount on any bikes or parts from our wholesaler relationships.
Pelvic Health
- We have one pelvic health specialist currently on staff and have an immediate need for others who have experience with pelvic health or are interested in specializing in this area.

Education: postgraduate degree
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program approved by the Commission for the Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education.
- Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in Washington state.
- Ability to demonstrate physical and mental competencies required for the role (including practical and/or written post-training competency tests).
- Capable of meeting the physical demands of the position.
Skills:

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients/clients and develop a plan of care with measurable physical and functional goals.
- Provide assessments, treatments, instructions, and other physical therapy services within the scope of practice per state regulations.
- Retain responsibility for delegated tasks to other licensees and support personnel, ensuring proper supervision of Physical Therapist Assistants and support staff.
- Participate in professional and facility enhancement programs and activities as required by the Director of Clinical Services.
- Ensure efficient service delivery through proper patient and equipment scheduling.
- Comply with the Facility’s Comprehensive Compliance Plan (CCP), including Business & Clinical Operations, Environmental Health & Safety, HIPAA, Human Resources, and the Code of Conduct.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, training, and instruction requirements governing healthcare services.
- Assist with routine cleaning, maintenance, and operational support of the clinic’s physical space, patient care equipment, and supplies in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Perform Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) duties as designated by policy or the Director of Clinical Services.
